Del Mesa Carmel Lawn Bowling Club was visited by Bryant Bowls on Oct. 2nd. It was the second British group to play Del Mesa Carmel this year. 33 visiting bowlers participated in triples matches morning and afternoon. The outcome favored the Brits, but of course Del Mesa is famous for its generous nature with visiting bowlers. It was quite a day with all the participants claiming a great time. Del Mesa Halloween Classic
The 2010 Halloween Classic is over and was a great success. Fun was had by all the participants. Rod Arriaga’s team (San Francisco LBC) were the big winners, with Tab Boyden’s team (Del Mesa LBC) coming in a distant second. The weather was perfect even though showers were forecast.
